PETS are living the dream, and they’re taking over the world.
According to the Pew Research Center, the number of pets worldwide is on the rise.
The Pew study estimates that the number grew by 4 percent last year, while the number in the U.S. was up by 3 percent.
The pet industry is booming, with more than 4,000 pet stores and pet food companies reporting record sales last year.
But many pet owners are finding it difficult to keep a pet.
According the Pew report, about 80 percent of pet owners say they are struggling to maintain their pet’s health and well-being, compared to about 20 percent of owners of cats and about 5 percent of dog owners.
What is it like to care for your pet?
The Pew survey found that about half of pet ownership is driven by emotional attachment, such as love, loyalty, and affection.
That attachment is particularly strong for pet dogs.
Pet owners also say they can be emotionally disconnected from their pets, such that they don’t feel like caring for their pets at all.
They also have difficulty communicating their pet with their friends and family.
The survey also found that pet owners often struggle to keep track of their pets’ medical care.
About a quarter of pet caregivers say they spend more than 30 percent of their income on pet care.
A third of pet care expenses were for medical bills and treatments for pets, compared with less than a quarter for pet owners who spent less than 10 percent.
One in four pet owners said their pets had more than one medical condition, such to pneumonia, heart disease, and urinary tract infections.
According a recent survey of pet parents by the American Veterinary Medical Association, almost a quarter said they have at least one pet with cancer, which affects up to 50 percent of pets.
How do you keep your pet safe and healthy?
The survey found pet owners were less likely to have pets vaccinated or spayed or neutered, or if their pets were spayed/neutered.
About one-third of pet owner said they used flea collars or other means of control when they care for their pet, compared for owners of other animals.
More than half of dog and cat owners said they use a dog collar for keeping their dogs or cats indoors.
A majority of pet users reported using a cat leash.
In contrast, pet owners of dogs reported having more problems keeping their pets within a safe distance, such a house, garage, or car.
And pet owners with children were less sure about keeping their animals inside.
What do you do if your pet needs help?
Pet owners can report concerns to their local shelters or humane societies.
Pet shelters typically have the resources to assist pets and help people who have pets with behavioral issues.
Pet adoption agencies are available to help pet owners get a new pet and to provide support to those with medical issues, including vaccinations.
You can also call the American Humane Association at 1-800-222-8255 or go to their website at www.humaneaustralia.org to learn more about pet adoption and foster care.
