BLACKPETE, SWEETHEART and MORE are on a roll as the “Black Petes” are back at it, bringing their signature pop songs back into the mainstream with the release of their latest album, Black Pete.”Black Peté” is a reinterpretation of their 1986 hit single “Black Pete,” which was produced by Black Pete’s wife, Felicia.
The album’s second single, “Black Cat,” has the singer and songwriter sharing the stage with their “Black Pied” co-stars.
The track was recorded at the same studio where they made “Black Dog,” a 1989 hit for the then-upstart record label, MCA.
“Black Pets” is also the follow-up to their 1987 hit single, which was released as “Black Fish.”
The group’s second studio album, called Black Pete, is released this summer.
“The Black Petes are a pop band that have been touring and performing the last four years,” Felicia said in a statement to Billboard.
“They are a rock band that love the sound of music and are always looking to explore new ways to play and collaborate with artists and fans alike.”
The band also released their fifth studio album “Black Magic” earlier this year.
