With Uber and Airbnb facing a slew of lawsuits in California, a pet hotel has become a pet-friendly option for those looking to enjoy a short ride home.
As part of its virtual pet pilot program, Airbnb has set up virtual pet rooms in San Francisco and New York.
These pet hotels are set up on the Airbnb platform and feature an avatar that can be controlled from an app.
The avatars are able to travel from the hotel to the guests room, where guests can choose a pet that they can bring in to stay in the room for up to 30 minutes.
In addition to Airbnb, pet hotel owners can also book virtual pet hotels through the Pet Travel Service, which also connects pet owners to local pet-care providers.
This new breed of pet hotel comes at a time when pet ownership is on the rise in the US, as pet ownership increases in the home and in the workplace.
According to the PetTravel Service, pet ownership has increased by 70% over the past five years.
This is not the first time that a pet has become an option for pet owners looking to escape their office, and it certainly won’t be the last.
But with Airbnb and Uber facing lawsuits in the state, the popularity of the pet hotel option could also come to an end.
